Exactly. All the people who are skeptical, doesn't realize that Cali is typically a trendsetter / early adopter.

I was talking to my aunt the other night, who lives in the DMV and she had no idea how prevalent Tesla cars were out here.

I'm not saying that every car is Tesla, but it isn't uncommon to see Tesla's or people with electric vehicles.

My apartment complex with 40 units, already has 30 charging stations. They installed it back in February. People in the know, know what's up.
I've seen 10 Tesla's in my neighbordhood already. That's actually a lot. There's also a Tesla dealership 5 blocks from where I live.

We're about 3 years off at this rate. Will be here in short time.

Again, I don't see the issue. Gas vehicles aren't banned outright. There will still be used gas vehicles available to purchase.

In 15 years, most every car manufacturer will have a full lineup of EVs available and they'll be at any price range you can think of from $20K to $1,000,000+.

Exactly. EVs will be a normal price and in 15 years used ones will be a normal price.

i know everyone thinks of SF/LA/SD as california, but those inland/upstate red county cacs aint no where near on the EV wave :heh:
San Bernardino county looks like a third world country.

:mjlol:

I cant imagine them having the infrastructure to maintain a fully EV society ready in 15 years. We still have unpaved roads out here. Colton has weekly blackouts for no reason. Victorville is a desert wasteland.

I dont see it happening

Anyone here who believes any of the science on climate change and still opposes this isn't thinking straight. Even if the scientists are only 1/2 right, this shyt is baby steps compared to what we need to happen.

Y'all watching the world burn outside your window and still ain't getting the picture yet?

In 2035 if you tell anyone you opposed this they gonna look at you like you stupid. shyt is only going to get worse and FAR more extreme measures are going to enter the discussion very soon.

Not to mention half the people in this thread talking like they didn't read that you'll still be able to buy a gas-powered car in 2035, they just won't register NEW gas-powered cars. Talking about fukking over people in poverty when anyone in poverty is moving stupid if they ain't buying used anyway. I ain't had a bought-new car in my immediate family at any point in my entire life.

Y'all really have to read the articles and stop dap posting all the time.

The following is the third sentence in the article:
Stop it and allow these folks their fake outrage.

Lots of folks like to scream about the environment as well but then act all

:whoa:

When measures are introduced. Fascinating.

I think its doable tbh. EV development is in hyperdrive right now. The EU moving towards this put everyone on notice. Every manufacturer will have an appropriately sized EV lineup by then.

The charging solution will be more difficult however.

It's something to shoot for though. Cali is probably going to need help with their grid in the meantime as well.
for this to make that much of an impact, the whole state needs to convert to renewable fuel sources

Ev's are going to have to be 15k for wide spread adoption otherwise the average person won't be bothered to get that shyt, were in a great depression that's going to last a few years and this is a huge ass country with shytty transportation in a lot of cities and towns.
