Yeah, its a hard decision to make but I would probably return it to not get in trouble. Like others said, high probability that whoever lost it will come back looking for it.

U could get in trouble with the police or gangsters or who knows? But if u spend that cash and its traced back to you u could be in trouble.

I was in a similar situation once with a lot less money tho. I was waiting to use an ATM and the guy in front of me forgot to take his money after the transaction.

It musta have been about 300£ or more. So I took the money, caught up with the guy and gave it back to him. I took out 10£ out of the stack to pay for my bus pass and I considered it a finders fee. I gave all the rest back to him tho.
