Yall making it harder than it seems. He is an immigrant so he has fam back in Ethiopia. Literally, all he has to do is pack the money in some clothes, box that shyt up, and ship it to Ethiopia.
My job function actually deals with international shipments, so i deal with this almost on a daily basis. It is extremely unlikely that customs would select that item for a random inspection. In a string of 4 4000lb containers customs may pick 5 pieces to inspect. The only way we pick up on drug or large money shipments is if we have an open investigation going and that package and shipper has been flagged from the origin.
We ship drugs through our system every day. Back when i was a regular loader I had a package full of cocaine bust open in my work area. That threw everyone for a loop. That package would have went right on through to its recipient if it wasnt packaged so shyttily and busted open.
The highest risk he would face is someone in Ethiopia just flat out stealing his package.

when they see you traveling with 200g's in your suitcase. Your best bet is finding some pilot from one of those high end private charters & fronting some cash to fly you over.
