Dudes don't realize that these corporations need to make profit one way or another, they don't give a fukk about what you want
The maximum they will be able to get away with is $25-$30 a month or $200 for a year deal if they want that commitment.

I have thought about this at length.

Let's see what we have here...

ESPN Networks - $200 per year (This is what I am estimating)
MLB.TV - $130 per year
NBA League Pass Broadband - $200 per year (this is what it will be soon enough)
NFL Package - $350 per year :stopitslime:
Cable Internet - $600 per year (would be $420 per year for me)

TOTAL = $124 per month for all that piff. Who the fukk knows how much it would cost to get all of that with the setup now. I am guessing a cool $400 per month on average. Might be able to lower it with NFL Games on ESPN Monday Nights, and over the air channels.

it'll happen eventually

pay attention to apple tv... it's gonna change how everything works
AppleTV is not changing a damn thing.

All inclusive packages are the way to go. The way these networks would be able to secure that money year round is to offer it as a complete package. If AMC were to hit me up on some...yeah you need to pay $15 for our channel or else that means no Breaking Bad for you...I will have to fork that over :noah:

A lot of ya'll are also assuming that the current way we...acquire things...will exist 5 or 10 years from now

The big companies got congress in their back pocket. We avoided SOPA just barely IMO

Only reason why sopa almost passed was cause alot people didn't even know about it til it was almost too late

We the people control congress more then anything cause they need us to get in and stay in office

If these companies had control like that pirating would've been dead

i tried this last semester for a little bit but it got annoying after awhile trying to find streams.

True, but the gaming consoles making it real easy to eat without copping cable.

Xbox is getting NBA League Pass for the upcoming season :skip:

I already have a Roku box, basically, I'm getting my sports in HD on my HDTVs without getting raped for it.

I thought I couldn't go without cable until I did it. You'll be surprised at how much you really don't need the shyt.

:ehh: Brehs whats yalls guides to surviving without cable? Im thinking about ending it all together cause like a majority of yall I only watch a handful of channels mainly sports stations. No sense in paying for stuff I wont watch

I'm thinking about getting Roku when I move next summer.

Roku Streaming Players | Roku 2 HD Player, Roku 2 XD Player and Roku 2 XS Player

You pay for the box (which I think is between $60-$80) and then after that, you could choose to pay monthly fees for Netflix and Hulu plus and have that streamed to your TV.

I need local channels.
ESPN family
TNT
Big 10 Network
Sunday Ticket
NFL network
NBA TV

Rare times I want to watch a tv show I can get that HD download less than an hour after it airs. shyts the reason I don't have cable now. Why get a package with 200 channels when I want 10? Plus these cable companies be wanting me to enter into contracts? :wtf:
