Breeeeeeeeeh :picard:

Think about this shyt. And yes I watched the video. That little slit of space between the elevator and the door.... THATS what he got pulled down into

Brehs legs folded up like a lawn chair and slid in that crack like a toaster. I wonder if he died then or lived the whole ride down and had to feel that till he smacked bottom.

What a horrific way of dying :mjcry:
Breh his Spine got folded in half....

Well in that case we don't have shyt to worry about from China cause this shyt happens all over that bytch.

The chinese have a bullet train that can cross the entire country in a few hours, American still has the railroad system the chinese built during the old west are you serious

This is Manhattan Luxury apartment, not a building belt in the 1930s, Americans can't build anything anymore, the bridge collapsing in miami was another sign that US that over sight and deregulation has ruined the infrastructure

Like I said when I went to New York I was not impressed by the architecture, all the buildings were all old and not really kept up, but this is was a newer building not an old, shyt is alarming that this could happen, this wouldn't happen in a slum lord's apartment building in Detroit but its happening in Manhattan were the buildings are so to be state of the art the best in the country

This is actually a fear of mine, because I saw a video of this happening a fear years ago. Asian man was basically decapitated by the elevator:why:

Ever since then, I be pulling/pushing my kids in/out the elevator so fukking fast every time we get out or in.
This is one of my worst fears too. Ever since I saw the first resident evil movie, where a nikka got cut in half by the elevator.:sadbron:

I think it is less about capabilities and more about American not being a democracy anymore and we really have less and less choice who our politicians are, which gives us less and less choice in our infrastructure. There are plenty of patents on crazy tech advances in the US. We just dont have the politicians that will sign off on this shyt. We need deregulation and better budget management

Out in the Bay, there are tons of Biotech companies that are springing up and creating cures for cancer and HIV.... The reason they are springing up is because Trump pulled back regulations...

We could have bullet trains... Politicians just dont want to sign the bill for it... Elon Musk will have a underground interstate in Cali by 2030, and the bay will probably have a lightspeed train from Sac to SF.

If Americans dont hold politicians accountable, then yeah you are right... Empire will fall..

35 years ago there was no population or anything in Shenzen now its a mega city that looks like concept art from a sci movie or videogame

naw elevators aren't complicated mechanisms and you got buildings over a hundred years old that never had this type of problem let alone a luxury high rise

it was because of wear and tear, maintenance that's one thing, there is a flaw in the actually system for the elevator to behave like this, and it's probably because apart of its function is computerized, the phrase it ain't broke don't fix it is there for a reason, not everything needs to be integrated with computers, machines have worked just find without any computers for hundreds of years.
