35 years ago there was no population or anything in Shenzen now its a mega city that looks like concept art from a sci movie or videogame

If you don't live on the westcoast you're city doesn't even have a reliable bus system, at subway systems are only on the eastcoast and chicago

people don't want to admit most of America is still in the 1970s

Easy to build a place like this or Dubai when nothing was there... It's all fresh dirt

NYC and places like that, been crammed packed since the 30s.. So to even start building something like that, the old buildings gotta come down. So you're knocking down history right there. Plus putting people out while they rebuild the new spot.. Who's paying for this? Building or renting? This city up here, in NYC, would be 10k a month in rent... EASY

No offense but that man in front of him has some blame in this...

Simply because he walked out the elevator mad slow which led to the man not making it out fast enough...when everybody else got off they quickly walked to wherever they were going whereas the man moved like a snail.

Nah, there were six people in the elevator and that shyt happened fast. The 2nd guy probably is getting crushed no matter what, but if he doesn't it's just the 3rd person out instead.

Really they should have all stayed in. The ones who stayed in took a while for the firefighters to rescue, but they were fine.

I have seen videos of shyt like that happening in China but I didn’t know it happened here as well. I wonder if the maintenance log is up to date and if it has a full service history. Either way there is a potential cause for a law suit.

That's what me and my wife were talking about. If there were some complaints about it, and they were ignored, or the maintenance records ain't up to snuff the owners are hit.

They were complained about more times than you can count. The NY Times article I posted talks about it extensively.
