That was sick to watch :snoop:, it's stories like this that always have me a bit anxious in elevators, especially those fast moving ones in high rises.

And some of yall are sick, making fun of someone dying like that. That could've been anyone.

They really posted the video:mjtf:

There has to be a way the family can sue them for posting that disrespectful shyt

It's the NY Post, they're known for being a terrible tabloid.

Yeah, I don't think the person in front is at fault. The door wasn't even open fully and the elevator was still moving down and the guy in front got out of it under a second. The only way he could get out faster was to jump out the elevator like he was in an action movie. The elevator itself is to blame. Elevators should not be moving when the doors are open. The building and manufacturer are going to be hit hard with lawsuits and rightfully so.

Didn’t watch but the headline reminded me of this

Man is lucky.

Both times, eyes focused on their phone. How can you not feel the elevator moving? I think some of these people are not aware of their surroundings because in life in general they don't have to be. Oh and problematic hypervigilance.

I think it is less about capabilities and more about American not being a democracy anymore and we really have less and less choice who our politicians are, which gives us less and less choice in our infrastructure. There are plenty of patents on crazy tech advances in the US. We just dont have the politicians that will sign off on this shyt. We need deregulation and better budget management

Out in the Bay, there are tons of Biotech companies that are springing up and creating cures for cancer and HIV.... The reason they are springing up is because Trump pulled back regulations...

We could have bullet trains... Politicians just dont want to sign the bill for it... Elon Musk will have a underground interstate in Cali by 2030, and the bay will probably have a lightspeed train from Sac to SF.

If Americans dont hold politicians accountable, then yeah you are right... Empire will fall..

Or maybe push forward more building regulations.

If you don't live on the westcoast you're city doesn't even have a reliable bus system, at subway systems are only on the eastcoast and chicago

people don't want to admit most of America is still in the 1970s

Trump promised to spend on infrastructure (in a similar way to the Roosevelt New Deal).

Would Trump's Infrastructure Plan Fix America's Cities?
