That still doesn’t mean blatent racism by cac posters should be tolerated. Free speech extremism is for idiots and rightwing extremists acting in bad faith.

The Mods allow them on because most Coli posters or the ones that matter agree with them.

Again you can say wild shyt about Africans but make a cotton picking joke and see what happens. It´s standard selective outrage.

I just see it as him giving people a second chance and a fresh start. I can respect it.
There's already been posters that have been banned. I think he's doing a solid job.

I think @Bryan Danielson has had an excellent rebrand and reggie has been bearable, but I think they kind of fall into the annoying/off camp. They've always been fairly neutral and not agenda driven either though. I'm fine with giving people an opportunity to show growth, but some are set in their ways in either their problematic views or outright mental illness and they've been allowed to be enabled and run rampant here much too long to see why folks wouldn't want them to try and integrate over to dap city at this point.

It´s wild to hear people talk about growth when talking about posting on the internet. Unless a nikka is 14 if nikkas can´t just express an unpopular opinion Or just say a joke and keep it moving something is extremely wrong with them.

Again on the Old BlackGirl online forum which was basically a porn site nikkas told this one poster called Helocopter Funk to get some sleep on a porn board this nikka was posting hoes all over the site to the point that nikkas was like Please Log off.

If you post a ton of hoes you had to look at the pictures which makes you a super porn addled coomer and maybe those nikkas don´t need to be on a general interest board.

I agree with this sentiment, but so far the mods have been good about keeping it chill over there. He was never really one to be in the middle of all the coli fukkery either, so I think he may be taking his time to figure out the truly problematic and agenda driven posters, vs the ones that are just a bit off or unpopular and could simply be ignored. He shouldn't inherit our personal beefs either, it's a fine line that all of us will feel some sort of way about naturally. I will say that I do hope that he gets a little more comfortable with wielding the perma hammer as the community starts to settle in over there though. If "it's not the coli" then don't let it become the second coming of it by cutting off the cancers before it's too late.

I'm on both sites. It's obvious the coli don't love us anymore. I just want a decent place to cat off in my free time, and it's impossible to keep a conversation going over here with all the server issues. Once you take a step back from thecoli, you start to realize how toxic it is too, and not in a fun way. It was still a cesspool in it's heyday, but at least it felt like our cesspool. Now, I don't even know who owns the site tbh. Dapcity is not just functionally better, but feels a lot more like a cohesive community as well.

But am here by habit and have a lot of intrusive thoughts. This place just MADE me laugh at times…

I’ve checked out other forums though. If this place ran better it would be tolerable. But if the site continues or goes down, I’m probably going to use the opportunity to step away from the internet for awhile.

This forum, and the ones before it (BGOL/SOHH) were also useful for news and information back in the day along with some laughs. Also, with the discussion of sports, movies, games, exercising, etc… hard to find a place that involves most/all of my interests.
