Years of your body adjusting.
My normal weight is between 205 - 220.
The biggest I ever got was 260 and it literally felt like my body was shutting down. I can’t weigh anything past 230 for too long or my body can’t take it. And I’m 6’2.
But if you’ve been overweight your whole life, your body adjusts.

They didn't care about his weight.
A big dude that can move heavy shyt and not pass out...they'd accept him. The issue was, he probably tried to move a couch and struggled a lot more than he's letting on. Not a matter of strength but like he probably strained his back and damn near passed out from minimal exertion.
The fact he mentioned not expecting to do much aside from office work was the red flag.

You gotta read between the lines, he said his boss had already met him and seen how he looked. But within 2 hours of his first shift he struggled to move a sofa. They didn't care about his weight, they cared that his weight prohibited him from performing necessary duties of the job.Damn y'all violating him in here
But honestly this is messed up. He is not that big.
If he had strength under all that fat he'd still have the job.
