You youngsters wouldn’t know it but while today “bro” is used universally by all, back in the days it wasn’t only just some crakkka shyt, but if a white person called you “bro” back in the 90s there was an excellent chance there would be a fight. A white person calling you bro back then was like a step below calling you boy in a way. Most whites would know what they were doing when they called you boy, “bro” was offensive without them knowing it. At the very least there was gonna be a quick response.
The usual response you’d hear back then was “Say man, I ain’t your bro. My name is ________.” Lol
