When I was young I would swing on anybody that got in arms reach being aggressive and I still would.

I swung on my neighbors crackhead uncle when I was 14 for something similar. Me and my boy go to the park in our apartments and these old school nikkas had cards and dominoes on the bench we usually chill on. I guess they had walked off to hit some crack or something cause they were gone. I wanted to sit down so I knocked all that shyt on the ground. He came back talking real crazy like " which one of you young punks threw all my shyt on the ground?"
I ignored the nikka the whole time he was picking his shyt up and he kept talking shyt. Then tries to get in my face cause he saw I didn't give a fukk

now as an adult I wouldn't throw someones shyt on the ground like I did then
now as an adult I would swing on anyone that approaches me like that just like I did then.

I don't know when it changed but when I was a youth...adults were off limits. As a youth you take your ass home, tell a parent, and let them deal with another adult.

In my upbringing it was most certainly off limits for an adult to approach someone else's child the way you saw in that video.

with me being a New York City black youth, spending a weekend in let's say suburban Long Island. For some white man to speak to me in a condenseding, agressive, beliting fashion about me in his neighborhood and for him to entering my personal space with his hands in my face and his voice raised cursing at me, that shyt would be too reminiscent of some Jim Crow era shyt.

So I empathize with the kid, and I don't blame him. This is deeper than just son dispute. Like I said earlier, you only see this type of aggression from white folks directed at us. And if I seen that cracker talking to a black child in that fashion I would give him the hands and the feet. that motherfukker was out of line, period. And being an adult shouldn't save him. Being an adult should have made him act in a less disrespectful manor
