I can't blame the kid, that's a grown man trying to intimidate you through physical body language.

As an adult you can't fight every battle, you gotta let ones slide, but as a young kid, nah you usually fight in that situation.

Because the man wasn't handling that situation the right way. Kid didn't need to hit him, but he also didn't sneak him or anything, he gave a clear message that this could turn into a fight and the older guy just kept berating him

A kid is a kid, kids are liable to not think about the 5 better options, because they are children they lack the amount of control an adult does.

This is why kids get tried as minors.

Sure i sit here at 32 and can think of 10 better options, but at 16, in that situation, i might have done the same thing.

To me, the adult is the idiot here. I seen a kid pissing in the park one day, in broad daylight, i wasn't gonna go out there and try and confront him, I got 3 girls though.
