That still puts it at a disadvantage. Both the Steam Deck and the Switch 2 don't require separate games from the ones you play at home.

Imagine if the PSVR was compatible with all PS5 games by default vs requiring dedicated software made for it.

Not saying they can't do it but I'm just skeptical since this will be it's own thing and any new games on it will need to be made specifically for it but it won't run PS6 games.

Sony just has a history of putting out these other products then abandoning them. If this was like the Steam Deck and played the same games the main device plays it would be fine but if it requires it's own software then it's better to just wait and see how it does.

We've passed the era where portables were their own thing and now they're just a way to play your same home devices with the same games and saves on the go. Hell the ones that were stand alone devices were notably cheap in price.

I don't agree on if people wont, people will. But SHOULD people buy it is another question.
I say no because the cloud should and could power any device. I stream Series X games to my Xbox One right now
So make a nice frame and screen + stream for the low.
