Our practice is literally like a fukking HS. Everyone’s business floating around.

Part of why some dislike me is because I truly keep to myself and get my work done. The amount of work drama ppl create because they can’t manage to keep their mouths shut and not tell ppl’s business is astounding. Gossip like teenagers…

It’s even gotten to the point that folks have recorded ppl and taken that shyt to some of the higher ups. I just shake my head.

Keep your head on a swivel because ppl will try to get you out the paint when you least expect it.


And please don’t ever be dumb enough to leave personal/private items (including mail, documents, etc) sitting around. Your office/desk isn’t your home. People will snoop through all of your shyt when you aren’t there, and someone always has an extra key for whatever locked drawer(s) you have.

I share with one coworker, and they've said multiple times they share with me because I keep my mouth shut.

it honestly still surprises me with how sloppy some people move in what they talk about with anyone at work, and whether people they may not necessarily want to hear are within earshot

You know what's crazy, I think the best managers I've had were probably white men. In trump/Elon era is probably different but for the most part they were cool, so long as you did your job.

It's usually other minorities that take things too far, from my experience.

Never had much of a problem with white men at the workplace surprisingly. All of my disputes have been with white women or Indian males. Indian women and white men are actually pretty cool overall in the workplace, go figure.

Indian men and white women are very passive aggressive, yet ruthless in the workplace from my experience.
