It is a virus. All humans are impacted by a virus that attacks humans. Here is a little blurb from the story that people will just blow by when they want to make some ignorant ass point about how Black people are the most affected by the virus:

So White people always had the highest number of deaths during the pandemic and Hispanics have the highest rate of death, yet somehow the narrative has been about Black people.
