as a nikka descending from the islands, this always intrigued me as far as the cover up. when i was a kid, i used to think ppl talmbout they got cherokee on this or that side of the family was soft c00nin, and some of them was, but they also wasn't lying as i grew to find out.

Be careful. nikkas on this site will tell you that your distancing your self from Africa. Which couldn’t be further from the truth. I definitely believe some of us were here prior to slavery. This continent was prolly mad diverse before Europeans got here. I would think the east coast would have more natives who were black based on proximity to Africa

i acknowledge africans the same way an english person would acknowledge a french person. we have overlapping cultures, but we're not the same, even if we were in africa. yea, the islands and new orleans have borders between them just like england and france, but my ppl didn't create those borders and their identity is based on undermining them.

i identify with ppl of the same historical experience, but in a nationalistic way. like im from the islands, so i have more in common with someone from new orleans than i do with somebody from ghana based off of hundreds of years that i can't ignore. my grandmother remarried someone from south america, and i didn't even know he was south american until i got older. if he was black from anywhere but the americas, i would of known as a kid instinctively.

Truth be told, this is what Asia and Europe looked like way before the Cac and Mongoloid came on to the scene. This is actually what the founders of what would be Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome looked like too (the Etruscans and Pheonicians, both of whom were basically offshoots of the Kemetyu or Ancient Egyptians...No different from how Chicago and STL nikkas are offshoots of Memphis/TN, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas nikkas).
