How do we know that is "mammoth" dna and not someting else. I dont trust people. Anybody who's worked any kind of job where you see what happens on the back end and what your company does on the front end should not strust people who can have you by the balls in this case.


I'm not a burger person BUT if I want some beef, me, my family, and friends go to the farm and split the cost of a whole cow, and we split the meat and go home. I've seen that cow walk around and eat grass so I have some remote idea of what's in it, than some executive telling me "we put prehistoric elephant dna in our fake meat". This is just not trust worthy to me.

It's not no reason. It's because people want to replace beef. You have no idea how climate change will affect live stock population in the future. Having a potentially replaceable solution for meat is a no brainer.
