Sad. We can turn our heads away from this crisis, but whites dying from this shyt affects us too. It affects everything. American infrastructure is rapidly collapsing, and pretty soon ALL OF US are going to suffer. Do people not understand how this affects the nation socially AND economically? That's what's so dumb about Americans, they can't figure out that our way of life is only upheld by how we act together as a society. You take a major cog out of it, like mass Caucasian death from opiods, or African American death from police brutality/shorter life expectancies due to health disparity, illegal immigrants killed/locked up/unjustly deported, and the rest of it is affected. Look at our healthcare crisis. Y'all are laughing, but these kind of crises affect us in every way. Affect us in health insurance costs, in medical costs, in hospital distabilization from debt and over crowded ERs, which in turn means to lower wages across the board because companies can't afford to give their employees affordable insurance because premiums aren't covering the mass amount of people who over utilize this shyt. When one of us suffer, all of us suffer. Whites not addressing our problems until it affects them is fukked up and troublesome and needs close examining, but I refuse to laugh about this situation because I know what is coming. All of these problems are destroying American infrastructure, and a major recession is going to outright destroy us. Dollar won't be worth shyt. And guess what? We will pay for their problem. We black folks need to open our eyes sometimes and realize how deep this shyt gets. We are taking American way of life for granted man, all of us, all races, and there will come a time when we will all be trapped in this hell with no way out. Personally I don't want to live in a country where the economy is shyt, where the political unrest has destabilized society, where there is constant domestic terrorism, and where any semblance of Justice exists. We got to do better man. Only a heartless child can laugh at this kind of shyt.

It's America's responsibility to both hold whites accountable for their racism and double standards, and it is also it's responsibility to see that we can't laugh and ignore the shyt just bc it's killing so many whites. Again, shyt is way deeper than people realize

Looking at the prison reform bill it proposes to help opioid users get treatment instead jail time. Meanwhile it does nothing to address crack or cannabis.

Well, literally about 100 people a day die from opiods and most of those people are cacs, so waiting for thousands of white people to die from opioids is like waiting that time of the month for a woman.

And there is nothing to stop cacs from dying from dope. No one can make anyone get sober. Dopefiends can and do walk out of rehab and they can use in prison. So no amount of public cac sympathy can stop thousands of cacs from dying a month. The cac opiod epidemic will have to run its course just like the crack epidemic.

The only "punishment" that the executives of these corporations receive are referred to as "deferred prosecutions" which is nothing but a figurative slap on the wrist where the govt fines them and holds off on any penalties by telling them not to do it again. Basically treating these white collar criminals like they're in juvenile court- "as long as you stay out of trouble and behave, we won't punish you" . And the fines they impose are a joke because the company can make that back in a months time. RICO never applies to them. All these water crises, big pharma, toxins in our food, chemicals produced that cause cancer, price fixing/gouging, lack of nutrition all generated for corporate profit detrimental to black communities; and we're supposed to give a f--k about them willingly od'ing and killing themselves off ??
