I even treat them to turkey, chicken, and fish occasionally but they've never stole anything off my plate.

I honestly don't want fear, respect is preferred. Also it's a two way street, most people do not care to understand their body language and that's when things go wrong.
I have trained them to shake, recognize their name and come when I call em so training is possible. They are definitely not like dogs tho.
