i refuse to conform
dude.. it's undeniable to compare the two.. and i do think Eminem was influenced by him and never gave him his credit and that's why Cage was bitter about it and accused him of biting. they worked together when Cage was like already movin around heavily in the underground and Em was like nothing and barely rapping. they essentially both rap about the same kinda shyt, shock rap. in fact.. like someone else said earlier in this thread, Cage actually had the really fukked up life and psychological problems Eminem seems to rap about and portray.

:comeon:

eminem is basically a step up from your avg white horrorcore rapper :beli: he just got lucky being at the right time and place in hip hop and linking up with Dre.

only thing Em really has on cage is being a better multi-syllable rapper and a larger vocabulary, there styles and content is fairly similar. so no, the only thing they have in common is not being white rappers.

edit: im not even gonna continue this conversation, cause youre not gonna convince me otherwise and i know youll go on forever talkin about multis and shyt lol

me enither breh cause even u admit that eminem is a better lyricist in terms of like putting syllables together so yeah nothing really to argue about.

WE WOULD TALK ON THE PHONE AND HE WOULD KICK ME LINES AND I WOULD SAY NO, YES, THATS NOT GOOD
HE WANTED TO START OFF RADIO HEAD WITH SOMETHING LIKE THIS
"HERE COMES ALEX THE WHIRLWIND, RIPPING UP YA CITY NEW YORK TO BERLIN"
SOMETHING ALONG THOSE LINES
AND I SAID NAH MAN
START IT WITH THE "COMING THIS WINTER" LINE
I FELT THAT WAS ILLER
SO HE LISTENED
HE HAD A FEW LINES THAT MENTIONED OVENS, AND BURNING PEOPLE IN THEM
SUBMINAL NAZI LINES
AND I MADE HIM REMOVE THEM AND TOLD HIM HE MUST BE OUT HIS fukkING MIND
HE FOUND THAT FUNNY THAT I CARED
AND I THOUGHT HE WAS A DOUCHBAG FOR EVEN GOING THERE

:merchant:

They influenced each other really...and by redman :yeshrug:

Em literally went from sounding like AZ to sounding like cage after Cage released the Radiohead EP. I guess he sounded more like Cage based on the fact that Necro is no where near Cage and Em in the mic.

But cage's Movies for the blind and hell's Winter albums took bits and pieces of Eminem's first 3 Aftermath albums. His song Soundtrack was an attempt to make his own version of Kim, Down The Left Hand Path sounded like a Dre beat, Suicidal failure and gave you Sympathy like brain damage did, u can a little of the Drug Ballad' flow on Shoot Frank

Movies for the Blind was my favorite album back then. That era cage was killing everything

I used to play the fukk outta that album too but i'm just sayin that Eminem had given Cage a format to create Movie for the Blind and bits of Hell's Winter too with the introspective joints and the even with the pollical joint he had called Grand ol' Party Crash when he address the harsh realities of the military and censured George Bush run as president like Em did on Square Dance.
