Top players don’t want to play with someone who takes all of the shots. Even with all the media attention, top recruits didn’t want to go to Iowa. Contrast that with Ju Ju Watkins. She literally resurrected USC and they have gotten the top recruit over the past several years. Clark didn’t establish Iowa as a perennial power. A two year run and that’s it.

As for her rookie year, she had one of the highest usage rates in the league. And Aaliyah Boston regressed playing with her.
