It's funny. No one mentions militant atheists from Europe going to Palestine and carving up land there. How many of Israel's PMs were agnostics/atheists?

Your first mistake is believing that a good portion of those people aren't religious. Religion is ingrained into every ounce of their people, culture, state and ideology, including Zionism. Their texts promote superiority and xenophobia. Yes, you can take a deity or deities out of the equation, but the core of the religion is still there.
Maher is a good example of that. He's a zionist through and through. It's why he can shyt on Christianity and Islam, yet cheer for Israel at every turn. He fails to see the religious motivations of the Israeli state and Zionism, including settlers.
Well neither of us are wrong.
But it is really ironic. Militant atheists using faith, something they hate at it's core, to promote superiority and racism.

They arent using it, they believe it.
What am I saying is that those people derive their entire identity and ideology from religious sources. Zionism is rooted in theology in every aspect. Which is why it's either puzzling or dishonest when Maher and Harris decry religions yet subscribe to Zionism at the same time. It doesn't even make sense.
