Caleb was generational, Baker was not
I can't help you with your expectations for 1st year rookies or making career forecast based on seeing them playing against boys with boys. That's on you :yeshrug:
What I can say is that Peyton Manning went 3-13 and had much worse passer rating year 1 with a much better o-line, year two went 13-3. And if we pull up the list of all the guys you people called generational in college we'd think it's a joke in hindsight.

I know this is the internet where you are either generational or one of the worst ever. But I will wait and see. What I know is that he's not playing good right now, but he has shown some signs against trash defenses, and he's nothing at all like Justin Fields who has a completely different style better suited for playing behind trash o-lines.

He should absolutely be fired because he fukking sucks.

BUT, if you are trying to salvage Caleb, you have to keep him for continuity purposes
. After a few seasons in the same system, the game slows down for the QB, then do what ever you want.

I also don't think Ben Johnson would leave the Lions and go to a divisional rival either.
:what:Dude this is a shytty ass take

:mjlit:His game in College doesn't work in the Pros, he needed to be benched for a year and then have him start next season. But then again the Bears Ownership fukked that up by not firing the coach before drafting Caleb.

So. Cal
Caleb is in a great situation

I expect Chicago to be fun to watch all year

Just watching him on Saturday you could see he's gonna be good

He slide on that scramble in the middle of the field instead of taking a bone crushing hit like that dumb ass RGIII would've done

He scrambles TO THROW on some Mahomes shyt

Thats what you love
This fukking retard :mjlol:

I’m glad Fields got the hell out of there. He may not be a starter but he can ride that backup train for a decade and collect checks.

Chicago was running him straight out the league.

He still deserves a shot as a starter. Hate how they just wasted his talent.
