Typically a young player QB needs 4 years to develop. If there is success year one there is usually regression year two and they have to make the adjustment near the end of year two and three moving forward

Forget the fact that Caleb Williams was sacked the most times in NFL history last year or that he broke the rookie record for most consecutive passes without an interception or that he threw 20 touchdown passes against only 6 interceptions on the season or that the Bears had multiple teams beat over the last 2 years before Ubberflu screwups. People should have known that Caleb Williams was going to struggle last year for the same reason that Justin Fields struggled the year before. The Bears offensive line was the worst in pro football, but they were still light years better than the Bears HC uselessflu. People that didn't watch the Bears have no idea of how bad the coach really was. Here are some of his low lights.

So much national praise was heaped on Johnson during the last few years but you rarely got much focus on local coverage: he’s a hot head who demands routes and throws be done 100% exactly where he wants them. Caleb has never been that type of QB though. He doesn’t get the ball out on time and that throws off receiver routes…

I’m a Lions fan so I’m not gonna declare the Bears are fukked since I’ll look biased. I’ll just say it’s gonna take time for them to get that offense down right. And by the time they do they might be out of the playoff hunt.

No but he struggled through training camp and while he had a really good preseason game, he's still holding onto the ball too long. And just listening to Johnson you can tell he's frustrated but not boiling over yet.

Nah, they were patient more than you think. They just were impatient with bums.

Ben was brought in to develop the franchise QB. Even with his flaws he threw 20TD/6 picks. Issue is holding the ball and your job as a Coach is to coach it out of him. Almost 70 sacks is retarded. If Caleb's still doing the shyt holding the ball too long, that's on you Ben Johnson to fix that flaw as the head coach.

Well those coaches had LT, Aikman Irving, Elway and Brady. Those players had the perfect mentality to take that coaching and it allowed everyone else to fall in line
