see this is why I wasn't all too excited about weed being fully legal here. I don't usually get my shyt at the club, but I decided to go there this morning. an 8th use to be $30-40 at the same club I go to.

Not for me even if I did buy 8ths Buying 8ths at a time is for kids/baby smokers. I am blessed to know people in high places so none of this really applies to me so I'll just exit after this.

I feel you but real smokers can burn through a quarter or half with ease if it’s there. I’m usually a quarter buyer ($40 in MI ) but I’m known to roll unnecessary blunts just because the product is there. 8ths last me longer believe it or not

....price can sometimes play a part but that's not really the deciding factor....hell % is even a deciding factor...I've smoked some stuff that tested at 31% and that shyt didn't even hit me....I've been getting this strain called Mint Chocolate Chip which is purple as fukk but only test at 19%...but that shyt has to be a strong ass indica cause it hits me like Tyson bruh....too bad you can't smell that shyt no more until you unpack/unseal it....off the street it's alot different unless you know where the supply is coming from....

I am saying what you are saying. You can get through a half with ease and since the half is still going to be cheaper than buying 8ths at a time, I don't see why people are super pissed about the tax. Especially if someone has a rec because then one of the taxes from the state you aren't paying so....

The only time I ever buy weed is when I fly into Vegas and while the taxes there are high, I still like the ability to uber to a spot from the hotel to grab something than any other way

Im saying I would if I was in a legal state, and I'd probably invest in building a pretty good hydro setup if I was in a legal state. Really all you need is Coco coir or them clay balls () to do hydro but I'd like to build one of them PVC systems with circulating water.

I've had a few successful clandestine indoor grows using potting soil in 3-5 gal pots, but last one was several years ago. And that was just with CFLs

BRUH! Nice nugs for a cfl grow. buds had some real nice sugar on them. I haven't grown in 2 years, the smell was getting too strong and i ran out of room. My lady and I have moved into a house with a bigger basement, so I'm really thinking about starting up again.


SETUP:
I built a couple of my own pvc under current RDWC systems. At first I was doing regular deep water culture with air bubbles, but no return system in 5 gallon Lowe's buckets. Problems happened when the root ball would get so big that the water wasn't getting any oxygen. Plants would get root rot and the ph of the water would get off kilter quickly resulting in the plant dying because it wasn't getting any nutrient uptake. Built a RDWC under currents system with 10 gallon totes from walmart and I had shyt clicking until a got a bad case of spider mites or some type of aphid, had to throw out a plant that was on pace to give me 12oz by itself.


LIGHTING
Was running T5 fluorescents, those huge ass cfls you get at lowes as well as the blue-red led lights. Was getting some good light penetration with some low stress training. People still swear by the HPS lights, and I might try those in the future,

I have used the clay pellets, but would spill them all over the place, so I was thinking about using the rockwool mini cubes.

It's a tough deal to get into, I have had customs seize my seeds and send me an empty package with a big sticker on it. trial and error. But it's rewarding when you cut them down for harvest and sit there for hours trimming and cutting and curing your plants.

I don't even smoke like that no more but 8-10 nugs of what you see in the picture is what an 8th in Frisco looks like. That ran me $25... nikkas in here talking about $70 I ain't heard of nikkas getting fleeced like that for tree since the fake GSC clones oversaturated the market a couple years ago.
