It's is a difference. It's going to lead to more injuries by players coming onto the field not prepared to get hit

Limited contact during practice makes you soft during the games

Nah, you only need the offensive and defensive lines to go live, tackling in practice doesn't do shyt

Are they banning full contact tackling or pads entirely?

Most practices your going against guys holding bags. Either way, this is lame.

They barely tackle right now, not much of a difference.

we tackled and did shyt like oklahomas full speed in our practices :yeshrug:

I think NOT tackling in practice will cause more injuries

only on shyt like practices before games did we do light practices with just shorts, jersey(no shoulder pads) and just a helmet on to go over plays

other than that it was 2 a days full speed in off season :bustback:

edit: the more I think bout this, the more I think this is such a horrible decision.. Freshman football year we had a lot of people who never played peewees/jr midgets growing up so it was their first time actually tackling anyone and they learned that in the off season.. And they was still shook come game 1, this is gonna make it worse.

But even with that aside, this will make it harder to teach how to tackle properly and people gonna be just diving at mafukkas hurting they necks n shyt :sadcam:
