Coverages are coverages. Also you have team meetings and position meetings where you watch film. After that film is on you. They even breakdown the film for you honestly like this what they do on third downs mostly and shyt like that. So I’m just confused on what he means by he doesn’t know what to watch. Because that would mean they didn’t watch film as a team or position and they didn’t do anything in practice that simulated what the opposing team was gonna do in certain situations and looks. That would be un heard of

We can tell you never played football and if you did you was trash, how do you expect a quarterback to learn and master your system? By breaking down film with your quarterback, nikka you do spoon feed the starting rookie quarterback

Nope the nfl is totally different nfl greats like Shannon sharpe,ocho cinco,Mark Schlereth and RG3 (not a nfl great but had a great rookie year) said they had to learn how to watch flim on the nfl level

Chase Daniel said drew brees taught him how to watch flim and maybe if James jones learned how to watch flim he would've had a better career I will rather listen to ocho and Shannon than James jones And I played football from 6 years old to one year of juco and nfl defenses are so much more complicated than high school and even college defenses so yes you do learn how to how to watch flim in high school and college for that level the nfl is totally different I know in high school teams only ran cover 2,cover 0 and cover 3 teams wasn't running exotic Blitz schemes in high school or playing cover 6 and a lot of college offenses don't let their QB call Audibles on the fly that's why the QB look at the big cards on the sidelines once they see base or coverage the defense is in the learning curve is so big for a rookie QB in 2025 it's coaching malpractice not to have either a vet QB or your QB coach watching flim with your rookie QB

With any other team I would probably be on your side because it doesn't sound believable but in OTAs last year Keenan Allen went to eberflus and told them in otas that Shane Waldron was lazy and wasn't really coaching them by training camp multiple veterans said they need to be coached harder hell it's been reported that Keenan Allen was the real WR coach and Rome was talking to him more than the bears WR coach it was that bad last season
