Too many mexicans driving their bikes on the highway and selling oranges on the street

The rich are always able to hide in their bubble, but if the middle class looks at this quality of life declining, that’s a push factor to leave.
Cali people don't want them building cheap housing and apartment complexes in their neighborhoods. Large cities like Los Angeles shouldn't have so many single family homes taking up so much space in such densely populated areas, but Americans in urban areas don't wanna give up their suburban homes with big yards.Cali people need to go out and vote locally for pro housing candidates. The reason why housing is so expensive is that there are many nimby liberals holding up new housing in urban areas.

It's to damn expensiveI just moved to Cali four years ago and I don't want to give it up yet. Although I got good reason to![]()
when i moved here in 2014 2 bedroom 2 bath was 1500... now its fukin studios thats 2000I remember 10 years ago a 2 bedroom was like 12-1600 and that was seen as expensive outside of this state but now that’s lowkey the norm everywhere while here a 2 bedroom is 32-3600

well.. los angeles has a monopoly on the creative industries, which now is oversaturated. If i can maintain remote work, i'ma leave next year and just come back and visit people.why dont these transplants just move to the midwest why they always moving to the coastal cities.. they come into NYC making shyt harder for the rest of us...
I see where you're coming from breh but like all problems of this nature the solution isn't that simple and getting everyone in a state to all go out and do something simply isn't a feasible way to solve a problem. People couldn't even stay in their houses for a week during peak covid and lockdowns.Cali people need to go out and vote locally for pro housing candidates. The reason why housing is so expensive is that there are many nimby liberals holding up new housing in urban areas.

I’m on the software side of creative. I was living by the beach in OC for 3,500+ a month rent with 700sq ft to my name.when i moved here in 2014 2 bedroom 2 bath was 1500... now its fukin studios thats 2000
