Its not about productivity. people who lack healthcare increases the burden on the remaining tax payers.
Uninsured individuals are more likely to seek care in emergency departments, putting a strain on hospital resources and increasing costs for everyone.
He is basically just passing the costs to the community. When its free health care we still pay, but we essentially split the costs with their employers. This is only saving employers money. Not the citizens/tax payers
No matter if you have health insurance or not, if you have a medical emergency, hospitals and ambulances still have to serve you.
He will brag that the the budget has been balanced, meanwhile your taxes will gradually increase to compensate.
