I don't see how learning about gay people would make people want to be gay. Learning about rape never made me want to rape, learning about islam or judaism didn't make me want to convert. Stop thinking that people can't make their own choices. I'm against any sexual connotations being taught to kids at school, gender roles are for the family to reinforce imo. BUT, if we are talking about HIGH school kids (and high school is the first place you REALLY start to study the social sciences) i don't see the issue. nikkas that woulda been gay are already gay by high school, we all knew of the gay kids in school. Learning of the contributions of gay people to the society shouldn't change that. But like i said, there's shyt we gotta settle BEFORE we even get to "gay history".

Gay people don't need "fixing" and the culture doesn't need "fixing". Its just the way things became. If you don't like it you don't have to be a participant in the culture.
