I think Cal's intentions are good and he truly wants all these things to happen, but yall know that man pushing his book. I still find it hard to believe people think major college athletes are sufficiently compensated with an education

Snake oil salesmen trying to get on that NYTs best seller list. If he feels that strongly, tell him to give back some of his salary. Way too much for a guy who under achieves w/ all the talent he brings in

Exactly what would that accomplish?
Damn, can I troll? But seriously, he's the least believable dude to be on his soapbox about equality. This is the same guy who "suggested" 5 guys to transfer his first year there so he could bring in his guys. Or had the graduation clause in his contract and making sure he had ONE on the roster

I dont see whats wrong with that. If you gonna bring in a coach he should be able to bring in his players. The NCAA rule should be changed so that those kids can transfer without sitting out if there is a coaching change.

Many former NCAA players have spoke on how awful it is to be a player from a former regime. The new coaches pretty much shyt on you as hard as they can in order to get you to leave.

it's really hard for me to watch any NCAA games since i started following the student-athletes getting paid debate closely (a little over a year now). what's really disgusting about this is that schools can take away scholarships any year they please and don't have to cover medical expenses:smh: it's one of the worst exploitation i've seen.

Coach Cal also wanted to setup a fund for all of his former player's children to be able to go to school. NCAA laughed at that dude.

How does any of what you said have anything to do with treating NCAA athletes better? Nuffin. Continue the hate though, it only feeds my basketball coaching gawd :blessed:
