To piggyback off those 2 pictures from a Polar exercise app, this guy helps to explain...for anyone else who wants more detail. After maxing out like that you need 1-3 days recovery. But recovery doesn't mean not doing anything or utilizing your muscles. It just means going lighter, like a walk.
I've posted this before. Because unlike some cats that be cappin, I actually do this shyt. Every single day.
You burn more calories walking, then you do running, and if you're really doing the calisthenics, especially in reps of 30 or more, you're burning more carbs then you are fat, thus why you need to eat right, and provide your body with the nutrients it needs to continue to build correctly.

There's an ebb and flow though, I don't always bang out my reps consistently, especially if I'm trying to stay in a particular heart rate zone. So if that means I gotta do 10 reps of pushups, then 10 squats, then 10 leg lifts, then 10 dips, then 10 pullups, I'll do that entire cycle over and over again while keeping my heart rate in a particular zone until my workout is complete.
There's days when I don't have to workout in a zone so it's nothing to keep my heart rate at 155 for 55 mins straight.
That and I don't often Max out. When you do that then you can't work out the next day or 2. Always leave a Lil in the tank.
It definitely gets easier. I remember when 125 pushups a day had me sore like a mf. Now 300 a day is nothing. I just feel normal the next day. Also my Achilles heels and calves would hurt running 7 miles. Now it's nothing. Your body becomes acclimated.

There was a thread yesterday where nikkas said they lifted weights for 2-3 hours soHow long do these workouts take? I feel like calisthenics is for people who don’t work. It seems like it would take hours to get done.
