Yeah, but what do you do at this point? No, he's not a #2.
This is a 6'10, 260 lbs (and probably closer to 290), $20,000,000 player and he couldn't back down James Harden in the 2nd round.
In the 3 most important games of his career (after Kawhi went down), he scored a combined 34 points on 15 of 39 shots (.385)
He shot 4 free throws in 3 games.
A big man shot FOUR MUUUFUUUCKIN FREE THROWS IN 3 GAMES!!!

Y'all are stuck with him.

There has always been post up/ISO opportunities in the swing offence.LMA is going to have to
1. Shed some weight
2. Change his playing style. Pop is going to have to get rid of the ISO offense.
The Spurs need to go back to their drive and kick offense from a couple years ago and find more shooters.
The Spurs won 60 games y'all. They're closer to a chip than anyone outside of CLE/GSW
That kid is far from ready to be an NBA point. Even if so Murray would hurt wings not Aldridge. Not going to trade him unless he asked for it...and he is so mentally weak he might ask for it if he has to spend the summer listened to how he couldn't do anything after Kawhi went down...
Good news for the spurs is they already have a player at his position who is a much better fit on offense...Bertans...so they could effectively just salary dump him and become a better team...
Highly likely him and gasol are back next year though...Spurs have been eyeing the '18 off season and I don't see them getting rid of either of these two...even though both should be gone...
At any rate LMA numbers are going to go down even further next year since it seems lime Murray is going to get the keys to the kingdom sooner rather than later...
I knew this bytch nikka wasn't about shyt where after Pop called him out and said he need to score more dude actually said he hoped Kawhi comes back so he doesn't have to "do as much"![]()
