man, i never understood why people would pay that much money for some clothes. it's really not that serious. folks are acting like they can't look good for cheap. it's about trial and error. you can look like the shyt if you pick out the right clothes.

If you have to spend $100-$200 on jeans to be fresh, then you really aren't that fashionable. If you REALLY know how to dress, you could make pretty much anything look good. I don't know if I'd go as far as wal-mart, but I've definitely seen people make a $50 outfit (not including shoes) look like a $500 dollar outfit. I've also seen a $500 outfit look like a $50 dollar outfit because they had no real sense of style.

Another thing.... If you know how to take care of your clothes, especially jeans, they will last for a very long time. I've never spent more than $60 on jeans and I still have jeans that I bought 5-6 years ago in my closet. And if you buy jeans that cost more than $40 and they feel rough, then you don't know how to take care of your clothes.

Hell... some the cheapest jeans I've bought are some of the most comfortable. Some of the most comfortable pairs of jeans I've owned have come from American Eagle Outfitters.

If you spend $100 on jeans to be fly... you probably can't dress. You think wearing clothes with popular names makes you fly?... nah, not really

Levi's is the most popular names for jeans and thats why all of you nikkas wear it :wtf: Because its the standard pair of jeans that is not too garbage to ridicule but nothing good either.

Some of you nikkas have no sense.

Momotaro
Pure Blue Japan
Sugar cane
Denham

Have you heard of any of the jeans brands? Are they popular?...thats what I thought but they are still great. Overall though i just think it comes down to people that literally have a passion for taking out a fresh pair of dry denim and then trying to get a sick fade out of it instead of buying the factory distressed stuff. Not taking it personal but some of you havent a clue. American Eagle jeans disgust me. Thats what all these white hoes wear nowadays :bryan:

Man you're clueless...

1. I don't knock someone who wants to spend that much money on jeans. Do you bruh... Everybody has their guilty pleasure. But acting like people can't do more with their $50 jeans than you can with your $200 jeans is foolish. I like I said, I've seen people make $50 outfits look like $500 outfits.

2. I never made any mention of Levi's. The only jeans I mentioned were american eagle, and I never said when I owned them. You don't know what jeans I wear.

3. The majority of these expensive jeans that are being mentioned are the popular ones, which is why I addressed them. You're right, I'm not familiar with all of those names you mentioned, maybe 1 or 2. But what does that matter? I can put a better outfit together with those American Eagle jeans than most could with some $200 jeans.

4. Who cares if that's what "white hoes" wear. You're so concerned about who's wearing what and how much it costs, you don't understand that it's "How" you wear your clothes, not "What" you wear.

5. Finally... If you know how to take care of your clothes, you don't have to spend that much on jeans for them to feel good. If you wash them right and at the right frequency they'll fit great and last forever.

^^^ You implied a person cannot dress if they spend money on jeans because they only do it thinking a popular name will make them fly. I refuted that statement by mentioning that american eagle and levis have the most popular brands of jeans. :rudy: What am I missing? You also said AE were the most comfortable you owned.

And I care about what clothing girls wear because I dont like seeing women who follow one another and cant dress well. Obviously a good outfit can be bought for cheap...nobody is saying that. But WHEN it comes to Jeans. You are paying for quality point blank. if you havent owned a pair of premium jeans, you have no right to say otherwise.

And what do you mean do more? If you mean distress...tell me a good brand of $50 heavy jeans that can withstand the stress put on them buy your legs for an extended period. All I know is I have been on both sides and I aint going back :pachaha:

I could care less what another man wears...I dont even have that many jeans myself, I'm a broke student. All I'm doing is trying to show some of you a better flow. Obviously people have better/different priorities. Some people buy watches, some ppl enhance their car sound, some their living room, some Jordans, some video games, some have children etc...

But dont make it seem like dudes are crazy for buying them jeans because theres a reason behind it.

MY GOODNESS.... are you incompetent?

I said "If" you spend $100 on jeans "to be fly"

And you know what I meant by popular... but if you're that dense that you need me to clarify, I will.

I was referring to what are recognized as high-end name-brand clothes (i.e. True Religion, Nudie), as these are the ones people continued to bring up.

Let me break it down for you a little further... If your sole reason for buying these high-end name-brand jeans is because you think they make you fly, you're delusional. Clothes don't make people "fly"... How you wear the clothes makes people "fly," whether you spend $50 or $500.

There are plenty of rich people who spend rediculous amounts of money on clothes and look like buffoons. Once again, it's not about what you wear and how much you spend on it... It's about what you do with what you have...

Pretty simple concept

Who are you calling incompetent :upsetfavre:

Now that you added "sole reason" it is reasonable but before it coulda been interpretated in both ways. nikkas are at work reading on the fly chill.

My point still stands though
