I'm at work 4 days a week. 3 of those days I wear slacks. 1 day I wear jeans, and the other day I am at the crib working in my jogging pants. I dont' give a damn about no $200 jeans :yeshrug:

Levis? We been off that. For like 5+ years now:scusthov:

I found the perfect jeans for me. Dark denim, no stupid wash, perfect fit, skinny but not too skinny, well made. 98 bones but they are worth it, absolutely perfect in every way. No stupid stitching, basic pockets.

And they don't have a gay name like, 'nudie' or religions or '4 all mankindz'

And no I'm not telling you :dealwithit:

$98?

Those sound like Express jeans... that's their exact price before tax.

Almost two years of wear and tear, 9 repairs

Yeah everyone does have their thing I guess. Would not be caught in those rags :wow:

Looks like you're washing your shyt with a washing board and a pumice stone b :pachaha:

I think another problem is most people do not know how to treat or care for their clothes in general (as evidenced above).

You wear the same exact pair of jeans everywhere you go....around the same people?

Well I don't just wear jeans... I have some nice tailored/fitted slacks of various styles and colors that I'll wear as well...

But yes, I never have more than 1 or 2 pairs of jeans in my rotation.Usually only one because I like to break my raw selvedge jeans in perfectly. I stay in Raw selvedge denim, which are usually HIGH quality like A.P.C. or Imperial denim, because Raw denim gets better with age and you usually have to wear them for like 6 months without washing them in order to break them in correctly... in about a year they start building a nice aged fade once the dye starts going away... After a year and a half of fading and breaking the jeans in they are PERFECT:blessed:... Then you buy another pair and go to work on those for a couple years...

Companies like A.P.C. have even created a line of denim where people turn in their used pair of denim with perfect fading and get half off on a new pair. A.P.C. then resells the used pair for even more then a new pair ... The jeans literally get better with time...

Im into that aspect of comfortable raw denim as opposed to buying like 5 pairs of cheap shytty denim just to "look different" every single day... I have a uniform that I wear every day, that is economical and allows me to stay in high quality clothing that is practical...

Like I said those aren't mine you dimwit. And they were worn for 600 days in god knows what conditions what do you expect. I only posted them to show the faded effects that can occur. The whole point is for them to get worn out like that...

I've never understood a poster whose sole purposes is to talk shyt. Some people have no life. :pachaha: duke been following me ever since I shytted on him in a thread

If you have to spend $100-$200 on jeans to be fresh, then you really aren't that fashionable. If you REALLY know how to dress, you could make pretty much anything look good. I don't know if I'd go as far as wal-mart, but I've definitely seen people make a $50 outfit (not including shoes) look like a $500 dollar outfit. I've also seen a $500 outfit look like a $50 dollar outfit because they had no real sense of style.

Another thing.... If you know how to take care of your clothes, especially jeans, they will last for a very long time. I've never spent more than $60 on jeans and I still have jeans that I bought 5-6 years ago in my closet. And if you buy jeans that cost more than $40 and they feel rough, then you don't know how to take care of your clothes.

Hell... some the cheapest jeans I've bought are some of the most comfortable. Some of the most comfortable pairs of jeans I've owned have come from American Eagle Outfitters.

If you spend $100 on jeans to be fly... you probably can't dress. You think wearing clothes with popular names makes you fly?... nah, not really

This is one of the best coli posts in a while. My friends and I clown people who think they're fresh because their shyt cost the most all the time. It's all about mixing, matching, being creative and unique. Fashion is art. What you wear is an expression of yourself. I relish in that. That's why I can't co-sign the super basic dresser or the guy who runs through neiman marcus and cops whatever the most expensive shyt they find thinking the designer will do the work for them. That's not impressive to me. That's not fresh.

Shirt I got on the way thanks to my boo innocentdevil putting me on. Can't wait to rock that with my black/blue moonwalker high tops, button up, black denim and a matching fitted.

i just find it funny.

Would you rather have a pair of thin, cold, generically washed Levis for 40-50 bucks and cop 5 pairs like one dude said.

Or would you rather cop a pair of dry, raw, 13-15oz denim that will weather the storm, mold into your body shape and have a nice gradual beautful fade when its all said and done. Some people literally wear the same pair of denim everyday and theres no rips or anything. I wish I could but dress pants and chinos are required at work.

I dunno, I'm the same cat that scolds ppl that buy jordan's though so Im probably a hypocrite. Everybody just has their thing i guess :manny:

Not my breh but I got a pair of denhams I bought in September. Actually I think I bought them last June Noe that I remember. 13.5 ounces denim :blessed:

I hope one day my jeans have as much character. I don't get to wear them often enough...only about once a week. But once I head back to school after my internship its on.
