You barely see the character you're playing as in COD games, the character almost never talks and is pretty much "faceless", this aint no third person game, with the usual cut-scenes that show your character.

Oh don't get me wrong I used to get it in with the Zombies, but Extinction became a helluva lot more intriguing to me once I realized it they following the Prometheus/Aliens route.
