It's better if you have interests. I only go on for news on things I like. The discussions are hit and miss depending on the sub. Plus its kinda corny tbh. r/games, r/NBA, r/nbastreams, r/hiphopheads, r/movies, r/gadgets, r/explainlikeima are the only things I frequent, however if you ever want a product or have questions always google it followed by Reddit. A lot of them dudes know their shyt and you can learn a lot. You just have look for it.
I Stay away from most of the main subs. I would advise you to do the same. I know r/blackfellas is a black sub although I've never visited it.

If you're into cooking or fitness or learning random shyt about science or history, or gaming, etc. Once you venture outside of that is when you'll encounter some racist shyt, sjw shyt, hyper-feminism, etc. Reddit doesn't have a just shoot the shyt section because it's way too many people that take themselves too seriously on there.

Lately I've just been checking out r/tinder for the fukkery. I often visit r/squaredcircle for wrestling stuff but maybe 5% to 95% with TSC. Haven't checked them in a while. Don't post on there, just read thru to see if there's anything interesting and may give a few likes. Can't say how the environment is compared to here. Looks like they got something for everyone tho. Got a bunch of subreddits in my queue. Maybe I should check some one day.

Otherwise, it's full of cacs, which means that even when the posts aren't the content ,stories, and general vibe is catered towards middle-class white people. Especially white men.
