I know you shoot interview watching, podcast listening motherfukkers will know the answer to this

I know how regular matches are built, they're predetermined and the agents and/or wrestlers go over the spots for the match, but how do you extend that to 30 fukking people?

I mean, how do you decide like Big E. is going to be eliminated at what time by who?

It would have to take forever to build a Royal Rumble style match the way you do a regular match, right?

So, do they just say, "Roman's going to win and y'all figure the rest out"?

Or "The final 4 are gonna be Kane, Big Show, Rusev, and Roman, with Roman getting the W, then Rocky coming out to save when Show and Kane jump him afterwards"?

Or, do they script the ENTIRE THING, from rooter to tooter and plan how each and every person is going to be eliminated and by who?

If it's the latter, then I have a whole new respect for the motherfukkers who have to spend at least a few weeks trying to figure out how each dude's gonna be eliminated.

It's probably not booked to the very smallest detail, but I guess the main eliminations and main players of the match are figured out and they go from there.

Who the fukk could think old ass Kane or Big Show have any chance of winning? Put some young lions. Put Wyatt, Ambrose, Rusev, Bryan at the end. Wyatt was on a streak today. Work with that. Ambrose, Ziggler, Bryan are fan favorites. Work with that.

I'm not mad at the result. I'm mad at the execution. Old Vince thinks that Reigns eliminating two old giants is a monster. That's not the way it works today.

I'm pretty sure everyone knows who they're going to eliminate and who they're going to be eliminated by.... the ending is the easiest to book

I don't think its that hard to script a Rumble match..... where they f*cked up tonight is order of entry and elimination.... ppl givin Philly too much credit.. the crowd would've reacted that way everywhere for the most part but they did get rid of DB too early.... after that, the winner was set in stone.... Ziggler got eliminated too quickly as well.. he should not have been #30 if he was gonna get put out that way

Yeah, Ziggler coulda gotten a run in there... he got in a good elimination or so, but he coulda come in halfway through, that woulda at least taken the heat off of the Bryan elimination.

Apparently Michael Hayes lays the match out now with a few of the agents. Court Bauer talked about it on his podcast. It makes sense now that Kane and Big Show were left in at the end because Hayes is huge proponent of the "Giants".

He also said Patterson, Young Simba, and Hayes used to book the match and then present it to the writers for any edits. Then they would do their final pitch to Vince.

Yea man, we tend to forget that he's also a senior writer/booker but the only time we care about him are during his numerous racist incidents. He's had a big part in booking a lot of terrible shyt over the years.

I recall in Punk's podcast, he was telling Rusev to come out & take him out with some specialty stuff to get himself over. It's probably just improv'ed between the individual wrestlers with who is eliminating who and when being determined by the main agents.
