So be it. Though paying US minimum wage in a foreign country wouldn't be that expensive to said US company. So "incentive" would really just be a polite euphemism for "greed". Also, removing that incentive means more Americans keep their jobs.

Nah, I'm not with the open border program. That may have worked when the population was 20 million. But the population is now 350M+ and property is getting more expensive. Plus, I'm tired of a foreign policy that encourages all this illegal immigration in the first place.

This sounds an awful lot like a both sides argument but maybe I’m misreading your point.

@GoddamnyamanProf isn't arguing about perfection, he said progressive ideals are morally superior. Progressives want to change things for the better as society evolves. Conservatives want to keep things the same or move backwards in honor of “tradition” regardless of how that impacts vulnerable people. Practice is a whole other story like you said, but progressive politics sure do seem like they work better for societies as a whole.

That’s my surface level analysis but I think it’s what he was going for.
