I play games for fun. So that means I play on whatever difficulty that is enjoyable for me(usually the the one right before insane, realistic, crushing, etc) No reason to get pissed. That's what MP is for. Can't put defeated (insert title) on most hardest difficulty on a resume or use that for some p*ssy

You: well shyt. I play AAA video games on the most extreme, hardest difficulty. Takes about 5 weeks but if I up my play to about 6 hours a day it may take 3 and a half. Go throw several broken controllers, showing non stop expletives, and frequent migraines. But it's definitely worth it. No casualness here baby

Nah playing on hardest difficulty not necessary anymore, as A.I. has gotten very good in games now.

Call it whatever I feel like I just went through hell beating this game on crushing, the whole objective behind games is stimulation, it's supposed to be fun! I felt like I was going through psychological warfare. My head is still hurting. I'm not doing the hard sh1t anymore.

I feel you I usually throw all games on hard by default but these days I barely have time for these games as it is. Horizon is the first game ive played in months, only reason im playing it on hard. When I cop nier ill probably just stick to normal.

Pushed back from playing games on hard myself. Makes them less fun and even tedious. I have limited time to play, so I don't want to spend time playing a level over and over again cause I'm low on bullets or health

With that said I still enjoy playing a good difficult game where everything is balanced and the challenge comes from mastering the controls/mechanics ala Dark souls or Ori

Word one of the reasons I never played the souls games is because I dont have the time for that shyt. Die and lose all your souls? fukk outta here im not 16 anymore.

i always play on hard first playthrough. Playing on the hardest difficulty first playthrough makes absolutely no sense to me. How can u even enjoy the game if you're dying a bunch (or if you're not u have to strategize like crazy and cant just do some shyt on a whim like u would on hard or normal)....id rather just enjoy the shyt but also feel like its not a cakewalk so hard is cool with me

Playing a game on hard doesn't even mean you have skills, your basically doing the single player equivalent to leeroy jenkins... Sitting there planning your attack to best cheese the AI. The best challenge is always pvp

wait, what?...beating hard is about cheesing, while the best challenge is pvp?...lol what the fukk?!?!?...most pvps boil down to finding ways to cheese other players, while using the best and/or cheapest way to victory setup/loadout...has nothing to do with skills.....pvp shows skills?..lol i needed that laugh....

as for playing games on hard: on the first time through, i always play games on the next to hardest level, saving the hardest level for the second play through....makes games more fun to me cause they provide some type of resistance/push back...i save the easier levels when i'm trophy hunting and/or feel like just breezing through a game....

...in the end, play on whatever level you have fun...that's what games are about...

Let's be honest, games like uncharted on crushing is not about best strategy. Most of the game mechanics become useless and you end up doing some wack shyt to get through the area. You literally have to find the flaws of the enemy ai and exploit it instead of playing the game how it's meant to be played.
