I just got up on this "Myfitnness pal" app and started counting the calories I consume. It's crazy how many calories you can take in without even knowing brehs. Just by cutting out juice and sports drinks you can eliminate like 400 calories a day.
When you count the calories before you consume something you'll think twice about it if you have a daily calorie limit in order for you to lose or maintain weight.
I know this is old to y'all but this app works.
Juice and soda are for little kids.
If you have a juicer/blender that's different but MFers out here drinking juicy juice or hawaiian punch need to quit.
"Sports" drinks are good to replenish electrolytes, but even the amount of those drinks should be limited.
Trying to get my cousin in shape. With a straight face....he told me he wants to lose weight and damn near went into shock when I told him to reduce/eliminate/dilute with water the juice he drinks all the time.

Started hitting weights two months ago, put on about 8 lbs (guessing some is muscle). I still have little bit of stomach I wanna lose and need to find more sources of protein other than meat or chicken

But you bet your ass when I was hitting them squats and front squats, I was working for that food. Folks need to smarten up. 3x a week in the gym and some occasional cardio can change their lives. I don't calorie count. I skip certain things when I see negative
