Cal's QB Jared Goff looked good last night

Cal's QB Jared Goff looked good last night. I didn't manage to catch all of the game, but in the short time I saw Goff play, he looked good. In particular I watched Goff stand in the face of oncoming pressure, take a hit and deliver an accurate ball to a receiver across the middle in tight coverage. This is something Brett Hundley has trouble accomplishing due to lack of accuracy and anticipation. And without talent to surround him, Goff outplayed Hundley in their match up. Bucky Brooks likes Goff:

"The super sophomore is a polished pocket passer with A-plus arm talent and a terrific feel for the position. He is capable of making every throw in the book with zip and velocity, while also displaying the timing, touch and anticipation to make finesse throws down the field. Given more chances to toss the ball around the yard to a talented set of pass-catchers, Goff could lead the nation in passing yards as a second-year starter."

if you want to make a NFL prospect thread then make a NFL Prospect thread, but this is not a NFL prospect thread this is only about one person who again i dont know or care about, who most likely will be a back up.

While Goff might be a too obscure for the COli, I've had plenty of successful NFL prospect threads already. This is a sports forum and I post whatever I want. Also, Goff is a great talent. He's about 6'5, A+ arm, anticipatory, accurate, etc.

Goff has been putting up big numbers since he was a true freshman. Dude is a good QB.

I'm kinda on the same page as Emperor. Goff is putting up numbers, but his offense for made for that. Can't say I immediately see this dude as a NFL talent, but he's young.

I've seen almost all his games. He was quality in his last two games against better-than-average competition so this is the hype thread. Scouting is about player qualities, nothing else. Anyway I expect to see more from him in the future.

ucla is giving up nearly 30 points per game one of the worst in all of fbs
