You're right. And this vine will be ignored also. By many posters on this very site. And by folks outside of this website. Double standards abound. But at this point, I shouldn't be surprised....

:mjpls:
Terrible example. His TE ran right in front of him and he clearly thought that he'd grab it.

No one was infront of cam when he fumbled. He just acted like a big p*ssy

Dive no matter what!! No excuses!!! Lay it out for your team!!! rah!! rah!! rah!!!

And that was some meaningless game against jacksonville, which I'm sure they were in the lead by a good margin.

LOL @ comparing that game to the mother fukking superbowl!!! :russ:

I'm a die hard bronco fan and I think manning should've made an effort to dive on that ball. Manning got ridiculed here in Denver for not running to get a first down in the playoffs against the Colts we ultimately lost. Like wtf dude? People were livid. But he ran against the pats and made up for it.

This whole cam not trying to recover a fumble is getting out of hand but in those circumstances he should've went all out. And he didnt, he's young, extremely strong and athletic and he made a Manning hope I don't break my neck moment. Except cam didn't have 4 neck surgeries and ain't 39yrs old either. And it's the fukking super bowl!

He didn't go all out like a lot of players would and it is what it is.

It doesn't matter if it's pre-season or the Superbowl, you lay it out for your team all the time. That's what you should do as a QB!!

But either way, Cam would've been criticized for this whether it was or wasn't the Superbowl.

Let's not play games....

He should've dove for the ball indeed. But with QB's like Cam, his mistakes don't get compartmentalized into a single play and they don't get left on the field. Every mistake he makes on the field gets thrown into the bucket of Cam Character Critiques. Peyton can afford to make the same mistake, and folks will forget about it by next week, and it won't go beyond the realm of "The Field". The QB's like Cam, RG3, Bridgewater, etc, don't get that luxury. It is what it is.....

But in reality, Cam gave you a ton of reasons to criticize him.

Look at Carson Palmer 2 weeks ago, you shyt the bed on the big stage, people gonna get at you.

Cam shyt the bed in every possible way, so why bother with the "He would have been criticized either way" all that does is try to absolve him of the valid reasons for why he is being criticized now.

You protect these dudes like they're your children

The way I see it, Cam likes to be doubted and he made sure the media stay doubting with his calculated stance today. I think he will be even better next year and even more de monstrous. A truly spectacular player in both victory and defeat:ehh:

Dude, bro, whatever, Carson Palmer threw 4 interceptions. He threw four horrible int's.

Everything he got crap for was left ON THE FIELD. Cam's mistakes lead to off the field character criticisms that are unwarranted, and have been unwarranted since 2011.

And you people get mad at the dumbest things, like whiny little children.

"He's dancing again, it's making me mad!!"

"He's has a fake smile!!"

"He took my green bay packers sign away from me, I'm gonna write him an angry letter!!"

Sound like a bunch of gossipy, whiny high-school girls and petulant children.

Cam aint get no protection that game and that fumble is the shyt yall wanna focus on, lol.

His team not gonna say shyt to Cam because they know let him down that game. No protection, nobody open.

Also glad Cam aint apologize. These media and posters demanding him do shyt the "right" way lol. He already congratulated Peyton, said Denver was better that day.

He ain't looking for sympathy. He ain't trying to win over shyt with a "classy" post game interview. He not trying to appease his base either. I think he's just being him.... after a tough loss.

I hope top players continue to dismiss the media. Or at least let them know they ain't shyt.
About him not diving and fighting for that fumble tho :francis:

Look, I'll give you credit if that' what you're keeping this about. But you know damn well that with Cam, it's never about one singular on the field incident. It may be that way to YOU, but every mistake he makes will always spin off into something else. Bottom line...

But yes, it would have been better if he dove on the ball.
