If I'm his teammate I would lose some respect for him. Not only that play but the way he handled the post game interview...makes me wonder if that team has any chance to repete another great season

Compare defensive players to offensive players....

Yeah TD broke his arm, but defensive players play with clubs a lot...what would Cam put on his leg after Khalil took it out?
If you rewatch the play, Khalil is coming full steam for the fumble and any contact would've fukked his leg up something serious and he would've been done for at least the rest of the game....

I don't understand the logic behind "you show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser."

Does being a sore loser make you a winner? Does losing with bitterness get you a consolation prize?

Does being a "gracious loser" get u a consolation prize? NO. He handled that loss how he fukkin wanted to who cares. And why is he a sore loser? Cuz he didn't wanna talk to media? Smh that ain't an indication of a sore loser. Was he blaming others for the loss? Blowing up on teammates? Nawl.

That is your right. However, I can NEVER fault a football player for making a business decision. You see all that Peyton did for the Colts and they tossed that ass right to the bushes once they thought he was done and the Broncos are ready to run his ass out the door now.

If Cam had always done this, I'd 100 percent agree. But we've seen him dive far too many times for fumbles. Thats the bullshyt

Navarro bowman comes to mind. His knee was gonna get bent the same way if he dove at that ball. I don't like the look of not getting in there, but his mistake was taking a few steps to get there in the first place. Needed to dive earlier to have a shot at that ball. I can kinda see his point, even though the whole business decision always looks bad in hindsight.

Made it through the first few pages...i think a lot of people are missing what he said regarding the fumble. He wasn't worried about being hit by the defender or his own man (which a lot of Cam defenders tried to claim), he was worried about fukking up his knee with a 'non contact' injury. I can accept that. Even if you don't think him diving from that position would have fukked up his knee, you have to admit that as soon as the thought enters one's mind, it will cause them to pull up.

I never had a problem with the interview, and don't have a problem with his explanation. Extremely overblown angle imo

So always avoiding danger is okay but only doing so once is a problem? I don't understand why cats keep talking about how he always risks his body like that doesn't shyt on the entire "soft" argument they are making. He clearly stated that he hesitated because his leg was in an awkward position.

He could have blown his knee out just as easily flipping into the end zone or scrambling recklessly in meaningless blowout. Remember how Carson tore his? The fact he performed a cost-benefiy analysis in the middle of the superbowl is heartless but the fact he admitted is mind-boggling.

Problem is he never thinks twice about injury when they're blowing teams out but he does in a close superbowl game? .that's frontrunner behavior an inexcusable. Nobody saying cam soft they're saying he's a frontrunner

It's just weird that you'd dive for fumbles in regular season but decide not to in the deciding moment in the SB

From what I saw, it looked like Cam wanted to run towards the ball and pick it up to keep the play alive, but that was a mistake. He should have just dove immediately to recover it, or he should have kicked that shyt once the defense touched it.

By running towards it, I don't think he put himself in a good position to dive for it. He probably wasn't even thinking "oh shyt I don't want to get injured"; it was likely just a natural hesitation from being in an awkward position.

I just have a different look at things since I had scholarship offers magically get rescinded after blowing out my knee playing football...

So anytime a player who feels that their health is more important I'll ride with em all day...
