Let's be honest here. All of the caping for Cam could've been avoided, if White people weren't so critical of Cam Newton from the day he was drafted.


He didn't always dab. He didn't always do that 1st down dance. But from day one, he was critiqued on his "fake smile" and other non sequiturs that had nothing to do with his actual play on the field, as alot of Black QB's deal with.

Every mistake was amplified.. They had a crazy amount of penalties, crazy amount of missed blocks, the stupid missed tackle on special teams, etc.

He did go down for the football. I don't care for a semantics argument about what is diving or whatever but he does go for the football. That clip makes Cam's argument even more, the way he put all of his weight on his foot when he sees the ball, that was a recipe for disaster.
