in the later coc days,..cam was offkey and a blatant over the top biter of ghostface.
cam was not in his nicest incarnation during coc.

Cam wasn't anywhere near the MC then that he turned out to be 10 years later. COC Cam was a straight Ghostface and Kool G Rap biter. He said it himself cause those were his two favorite rappers at the time.

cam was a g rap fan and he was fan of the entire wu tang not just ghost

camron is and was no where near the mc he was back coc confessions of fire days not to say he ain't dope but i could post verses that shyt all over anything he did after confessions of fire and coc.

I wouldn't put Cam in the top 5 of the past 15 years, top 10 is more reasonable. Now if you narrow it down to east coast rapper's I would be inclined to agree.

Cam does have one definite classic, Confessions of Fire, but he has dropped some good-very good albums too, my other favorites are Purple Haze and SDE.

only rapper to debut in the past 15 years that I rank ahead of camron is DMX.

I disagree with camron having classic solo albums. but then again, I take the term "classic" very seriously. I havnt heard a classic album in 10 years real talk. but killa season & purple haze were 2 of the best albums of the past decade. hands-down.

and yea, he definitely has the classic mixtapes on deck.

There are some weak songs but to be honest that can be said of most of Cams albums but the strong ones are really dope imo. That last joint he put out was trash.

Acts like Dipset wasn't rapping about sippin lean, ridin chevy, trappin and swagging in all they mixtapes or remaking and remixing Southern rap classics or wearing Bape because Wayne and The Clipse made it hot

The material is disputable. Dipset had a run.. wont deny that.. but it was never a rap A list run. In todays market, you can say Ross is A list. Now Im saying IN TODAYS MARKET.

ross wouldnt have had a run if he didn't peak in the dark ages. I like MMG but at the end of the day, theyre kinda popular by default, because theyre the only people consistently putting out mainstream music that actually know what theyre doing.
