Funny thing is that in the last 20 years, the Falc*ntS and The Bucs have both only won 5 playoff games......we just made ours count:smugbiden:

I cant support Cam on this one. There are just certain things you don't say when you are an NFL QB. Kaepernick wearing the hat was just a fashion statement and something that he thought matched whatever he had on. Cam is basically saying that he is rooting for a team that is their direct competition. Imagine RG3 saying he roots for the Cowboys unless they play the Skins and imagine the backlash from that. I guess cause their rivalry is pretty young that most people don't see the significance of Cam's comments.

He usually balls out against the Falcons so it isn't effecting his play. Most players have teams they grew up loving and probably still have love for. They just don't say it to the media.

LOL at this, hurt ass fans wish athletes felt the same way as them. You want them to hate the teams you hate, hate the players you hate, etc..

These guys had lives before they showed up for your team and will have lives after they leave. He cant just throw away the first 20 years of his life because he now plays for a certain team.

It does though, because essentially Cam is saying I want Atlanta to go 14-2.

He says he roots from them every day but 2, so in his world he hopes the Falcons are always 14-2. He has to see how that effects his team

No he's not. :dahell:

You can't take everything people say so literally. Dude isn't on the sideline like :ohlawd: whenever the offense isn't on the field and he sees the falcons score

Cam also said he's a huge madden fan.. :ohhh: he must play madden in his off time and not study his playbook that's why the panthers aren't winning games

Yeah, i said many times in the thread I really don't care that he likes the Falcons, even though it is odd them being division rivals, the real problem is saying that as the the leader of a team who plays in the same division.

If Cutler said he was a big Packers fan and roots for them every day of the year but two, think how bad that would sound. Or Geno Smith saying he is a Pats fan.

I think a lot of people shyt on the idea, but i`m saying think about if it was your teams QB who was saying it.

I never seen anyone say that fans do such a thing, so where is this line coming from?

I find it funny that a lot of people say it's no big deal, but I just saw NFL network had Novarro Bowman and Torrey Smith on there and they both said Kaep's hat was a huge mistake and he needs to wear NBA/MLB or college hats.

So if players got a problem with a hat, I imagine they can't love this.

Decent points, but I doubt everyone feels the same way as you do.

I know if Kaepernick came out and said he roots for the Seahawks every day but two that shyt would piss me off. Call me a obsessed fan or whatever, but to me there is a certain way to handle your biz as an NFL QB and openly rooting for your rival isn't one of them.

This really boils down to being upset that an athlete doesn't think, act and speak like you want him to.

This is a very bad thread.
