I don't see a problem with this.
Dude is just thanking his fans, no different from what Steph Curry did when they lost to the Spurs a couple seasons ago in the play-offs. In fact, nearly every super star athlete addresses the fanbase and says they'll be back better next year. Think of somebody who hasn't done this.
As far as typing style goes, who cares, he's being himself. Dude isn't responsible for anybody else's feelings about it.
