I don't know why you are placing the blame with cam when shula is the one who draws up the plays. Cam was top10 in 20+ yard plays for two seasons in a row before shula took over the offense. He's handicapping cam more than anyone else not name the carolina panthers o-line.

Yup, he's pretty much turned Cam into a occasionally running game manager. Which isn't bad because of the Panthers' defense. It would just be false to blame the Panthers' passing numbers squarely on Cam given his numbers the past 2 years.

I'm not really sure where all the Cam praise is coming from this season either. He's thrown for 300 yards ONCE all season, and even that was just barely, at 308. He's basically middle of the road in every passing statistic.

To put it in perspective, Ryan Tannehill has the same amount of TD's, has thrown for 500 more yards, and has the same completion % behind arguably the worst o-line in football and yet he's seen as having a whatever year while everyone makes it seem like Cam is out there ballin.

Truth of the matter is, Carolina's front 7 is dominant and that's what is winning them games.

The bar is set so low for a black quarterback it's hilarious.

Nope not denying but the premise of this thread is that cam is trash. The LT is beasting but the right tackle is disgusting. He gave up 2 sacks and 8 of the 16 qb disruptions last night. The offense is going to struggle significantly if your qb is being rushed like that and your OC is not adjusting.

oh well Im not agreeing with him being trash, like Ive said I think hes playing really well. I was just commenting on the defense being the main foundation. I have nothing against that, in fact I think a team like panthers is more suited for playoffs than a team that has to rely on their qb to be perfect like packers or broncos.

yeah that secondary is pretty suspect, I agree. they have kinda the same makeup as the chiefs defense actually. a lot of reliance on that front 7 to bring tons of pressure
