He wasn't. The sad thing is he's in a completely new offense, GOT COVID had no training camp and folk so quick. So quick to jump on black QBs....especially injured ones with a mountain of shyt that he has to deal with.

Cam has not looked like the Cam of old all season long even during that Seattle game and there’s nothing wrong with admitting that. It’s obvious that the shoulder is still bothering him and the hits have taken a toll. Again there’s nothing wrong with admitting that.

Going to bat for Cam in spite of his limitations is not the hill to die on. He’s always been an average passer even during college and made up with it with his all world running ability. Dudes still trying to be a runner even with a surgically repaired shoulder. The same shoulder injury that Luck had.

:yeshrug:Everything that couldn't go wrong for him has. Came in knowing he had to carry, can't carry since COVID. Came in with the idea his OL could hold up, they been fukked by injuries themselves. I'm sure he probably expected far more run help than he's gotten though, but with defenses not having to respect that passing game, what can you do

Pats done until he gets back right, and if he doesn't, this probably a bottom 3 offense

The Covid part is what has me worried, people have been talking about how they simply don't feel the same after getting it and we don't know the long term effects of it yet.

Cam has had an up and down career anyway for the most part and has been mediocre a lot minus his MVP season. Now for years we made the excuse that he had no weapons but now the shoulder injury may have been the nail in the coffin for him as far as being a starter. Not to mention the other injuries he has played with over his career too. Hopefully he can get right but it's looking like the beginning of the end for Cam as a starter in the NFL.

Go do tv or movies if you’re not sitting on a bench behind somebody. It’s over for the guy :picard: Sad to see him go out like this. Maybe he can do some soul searching and come back eventually.
